Krane Funds Advisors has launched a risk-managed fixed income ETF on NYSE Arca. The KFA Dynamic Fixed Income ETF (KDFI US) is linked to the FTSE US High-Yield/Treasury Rotation Index which tactically rotates between high yield credit and US Treasuries based on recent performance. The fund comes with an expense ratio of 0.45%.

Guinness Atkinson Asset Management has become the latest entrant to the ETF industry with the launch of an actively managed thematic strategy targeting companies shaping the future of transportation. Introduced under the firm’s newly formed ‘SmartETFs’ platform, the SmartETFs Smart Transportation & Technology ETF (MOTO US) seeks long-term capital appreciation by investing in firms that are involved in the delivery of products or services relating to autonomous and electric vehicles. The fund has listed on NYSE Arca.

Sixteen new ETFs/ETPs or additional ETF share classes were listed on the London Stock Exchange in June 2019. ETF providers introducing new products included Franklin Templeton, Invesco, Ossiam, Vanguard, VanEck, and Krane Fund Advisors.

China-focused ETF issuer Krane Funds Advisors (KFA) has unveiled its second ETF in Europe with the launch of the KraneShares MSCI China A Share UCITS ETF (KBA LN) on the London Stock Exchange. The fund tracks the MSCI China A Index, mirroring the strategy of a $700m ETF offered by KraneShares in the US.

Krane Funds Advisors has changed the underlying index on the $720 million KraneShares Bosera MSCI China A Share ETF (KBA US), one of the largest US-listed ETFs to track Mainland-listed Chinese stocks. The move sees the fund adopt the MSCI China A Index.

Krane Funds Advisors, best known for its KraneShares-branded suite of China-focused ETFs, has broadened its capabilities beyond the Asian giant with the launch of two smart beta ETFs on NYSE Arca providing exposure to domestic US stocks with sustainable dividends.

BlackRock has launched a new thematic investing ETF that provides exposure to global stocks along the full value chain of self-driving and electric vehicle industries. The iShares Self-Driving EV and Tech ETF (IDRV US) has listed on NYSE Arca and comes with an expense ratio of 0.47%, cheaper than all rival ETFs in this space.

KraneShares has launched a new ETF – the KraneShares MSCI Emerging Markets ex China Index ETF (KEMX US) – on NYSE Arca, providing exposure to stocks from emerging markets excluding China. The fund complements KraneShares’ China-focused core and thematic funds, enabling investors to build tailored emerging market portfolios without duplicating their country exposure.

The Hong Kong subsidiary of China International Capital Corporation has launched the CICC CSI Select 100 ETF on the Hong Kong stock exchange. The fund tracks the CSI CICC Select 100 Index, a quantitative, fundamental-oriented strategy index consisting of 100 China A-shares that are considered industry front-runners with solid competitive advantages. “We are proud to provide this ‘quantamental’ product in the format of an ETF for our clients,” said Liang Hong, Managing Director and Head of CICC Research Division.

KraneShares has launched the KraneShares Emerging Markets Healthcare Index ETF (KMED US) on NYSE Arca, providing exposure to healthcare stocks from emerging markets. “In emerging markets, rapid urbanization and rising income are fueling growth in demand for healthcare,” said Jonathan Krane, Chief Executive Officer of KraneShares. “We believe this a strong growth trend across broad emerging markets.”
