The Xtrackers Germany Equity ETF (GRMY US), Xtrackers Japan JPX-Nikkei 400 Equity ETF (JPN US), and Xtrackers Eurozone Equity ETF (EURZ US) have all seen their expense ratios lowered from 0.15% to 0.09%, while the cost of the Xtrackers Russell 1000 Comprehensive Factor ETF (DEUS US) has been reduced from 0.19% to 0.17%.

“We are committed to providing competitive expense ratios for clients looking to invest domestically or to allocate to international equity markets,” said Fiona Bassett, global co-head of passive asset management.

“Globally, we have been offering ETFs linked to international benchmark indices for more than ten years. Through our international equity ETF suite, we are able to provide meaningful efficiencies and cost savings to US investors looking to diversify their portfolios through these exposures.”

GRMY tracks the NASDAQ Germany Large Mid Cap Index, a market cap-weighted index designed to represent the performance of the broad German equity market.

JPN tracks the JPX-Nikkei 400 Index, a broad-based smart beta index composed of large- and mid-sized Japanese equities which are selected based on quantitative and qualitative metrics of quality such as return on equity, cumulative operating profit and corporate governance.

EURZ tracks the NASDAQ Eurozone Large Mid Cap Index, consisting of large and mid-cap securities from issuers based in eurozone countries. Constituents are weighted by market capitalization.

DEUS tracks the Russell 1000 Comprehensive Factor Index. The index strategy works by assigning each constituent in the Russell 1000 Index a cumulative factor score based on its relative performance across five factors: momentum, quality, size, value and volatility. Constituents are weighted using a combination of market cap and their composite factor scores.

The ETFs are listed on the Cboe ETF Marketplace (formerly BATS).
