HSBC comments on MSCI China A-share inclusion

With A share investors jittery about the outlook for equity markets on the back of the government’s efforts to tighten liquidity, some observers have pointed to MSCI’s decision on potential A-share inclusion into their global indices as a possible catalyst for fresh inflows.  An announcement is expected on 20 June, but the market is still split on whether the final verdict will be yes or no.


ETF Securities cross-lists robotics, cyber security and gold ETFs on Euronext Amsterdam

ETF Securities has cross-listed three ETPs on Euronext Amsterdam. Dutch investors can now access the firm’s robotics & automation, cyber security and physically backed Swiss vaulted gold ETPs on their local exchange. Peter Lidblom, head of Netherlands and Nordics, ETF Securities commented: “We are delighted to make these innovative products available to Dutch investors. Pacer ETFs celebrates $1 billion AUM milestone

First Trust has announced that the Trustees of the First Trust CBOE S&P 500 VIX Tail Hedge Fund (NYSE Arca: VIXH) have approved changes to the fund’s name, ticker code, underlying index, exchange and investment objective. The changes are due to come into effect on or around 18 August 2017.
