Arrow Capital Management has launched its second actively managed ETF on Toronto Stock Exchange. The Exemplar Growth and Income Fund (EGIF CN) offers investors a balance of growth and income, making strategic asset class shifts based on where the fund’s managers believe the best opportunities exist.

First Trust has launched an equity factor rotation ETF in partnership with Lunt Capital Management. Listed on Cboe BZX, the First Trust Lunt US Factor Rotation ETF (FCTR US) rotates among four style factors to provide exposure to large-cap US equities. “The fund embraces a multi-factor approach with the important innovation of applying factor rotation,” said John Lunt, President, Lunt Capital.

WisdomTree has cross-listed its recently launched pair of ‘enhanced yield’ fixed income ETFs onto Borsa Italiana. The funds, which listed on Deutsche Börse at the start of the month, seek to provide superior yields compared to standard core European investment-grade and treasury benchmarks, while limiting tracking error and risk.

State Street Global Advisors has listed a distributing share class of its SPDR FTSE UK All-Shares UCITS ETF onto Zurich’s SIX Swiss Exchange. The new share class trades in Swiss francs under the ticker FTAD SW. UK stocks currently pay a healthy dividend – the yield on the FTSE All-Share is 3.64% – meaning the new share class will likely appeal to investment managers building income-focused portfolios.

Internet and Communication Services ETFs have taken a hit on the back of a slump in the price of Facebook stock, which dropped 20% following the announcement of its latest quarterly earnings. The social media giant saw its market value dive by around $120 billion on Thursday, causing pain for ETFs that hold the stock in significant quantities.

Invesco has rolled out a suite of smart beta bond ETFs – the Invesco Fixed Income Factor ETF Suite – on NYSE Arca. The suite has been created on the back of research from the firm’s active management capability and comprises eight funds linked to proprietary in-house indices. “Self-indexing is a natural extension of Invesco’s commitment to pursuing better outcomes for our clients and we are excited to have the capacity to address their diverse needs,” said Andrew Waisburd, head of Invesco Indexing.

Lyxor has introduced pound sterling-denominated share classes for two of its ‘core’ ETFs listed on the London Stock Exchange. The new share classes offer low-cost GBP access to eurozone companies via the Euro Stoxx and MSCI EMU indices.
