WisdomTree cross-lists 'enhanced yield' bond ETFs onto Borsa Italiana

WisdomTree has cross-listed its recently launched pair of ‘enhanced yield’ fixed income ETFs onto Borsa Italiana. The funds, which listed on Deutsche Börse at the start of the month, seek to provide superior yields compared to standard core European investment-grade and treasury benchmarks, while limiting tracking error and risk.

SSGA lists distributing share class of SPDR FTSE UK All-Shares ETF onto SIX Swiss Exchange

State Street Global Advisors has listed a distributing share class of its SPDR FTSE UK All-Shares UCITS ETF onto Zurich’s SIX Swiss Exchange. The new share class trades in Swiss francs under the ticker FTAD SW. UK stocks currently pay a healthy dividend – the yield on the FTSE All-Share is 3.64% – meaning the new share class will likely appeal to investment managers building income-focused portfolios.


Vanguard launches DAX ETF

Vanguard has launched an ETF tracking the performance of the DAX, the leading German equity index. The DAX provides investors with exposure to the 30 largest and most important companies listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by exchange turnover and market cap. Amplify ETFs has announced its flagship fund, the Nasdaq-listed Amplify Online Retail ETF (IBUY US), has reached $500m in assets under management since its launch in April 2016. DWS has cross-listed four Xtrackers-branded ETFs onto SIX Swiss Exchange. Each fund provides exposure to equities of firms with high environmental, social and governance (ESG) ratings, as well as small current and expected future carbon footprints. Franklin Templeton to launch two actively managed fixed income ETFs

Franklin Templeton is set to launch two actively managed fixed income ETFs in Europe. The funds, which will initially list on the Deutsche Börse and LSE, are the Franklin Liberty Euro Short Maturity UCITS ETF and the Franklin Liberty USD Investment Grade Corporate Bond UCITS ETF. David Zahn, head of European fixed income at Franklin Templeton Investments, said, “As active managers, we have the flexibility to pursue investment opportunities that are beyond the fund’s benchmark index to help identify the most attractive securities to invest in.”


Saudi Arabia upgraded to EM status by MSCI

MSCI has upgraded Saudi Arabia to “Emerging Market” status, following its latest Annual Market Classification Review. “Today’s announcement from MSCI, so close on the heels of KSA’s reclassification in the FTSE Russell Global Equity Index Series, marks the further integration of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia into global capital markets,” said Sarah Al Suhaimi, chairperson of Tadawul.
