Assets under management on the ETF sector of Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) have surpassed the $150 billion milestone, as of 30 April 2018.

Total ETF AUM on Toronto Stock Exchange has more than doubled in the past five years, as of 30 April 2018.

Total ETF AUM on TSX has more than doubled in the past five years and the range of products available has expanded to over 500 ETFs now listed on the exchange.

The segment continues to grow with TSX seeing 35 new ETFs in the first four months of 2018 and welcoming three new institutions to its group of ETF providers: Bristol Gate Capital Partners, Brompton Funds and Scotia global asset management – the fourth major Canadian bank to offer ETFs.

These additions bring the total number of ETF providers on the exchange to 28.
