Deutsche Asset Management has launched a new ETF on Deutsche Börse Xetra, the db x-trackers Spanish Equity UCITS ETF (XESP), tracking the performance of large cap equities listed in Spain. Spanish equities have enjoyed a strong bull run thus far in 2017 with the underlying Solactive Spain 40 Index gaining 11.9% to 7 July.

First Asset has launched the First Asset US TrendLeaders Index ETF (SID) on the Toronto Stock Exchange, offering exposure to a portfolio of US equities selected due to the strength of their recent price trends.

Horizons ETFs has announced it will reduce the management fee on the Horizons Canadian Select Universe Bond ETF (Toronto: HBB) from 0.15% to 0.09% as of 1 July 2017. German index provider Solactive has launched a new family of smart beta indices targeting returns attributable to the value factor. The Solactive Deep Value Index series comprises four indices focused on specific geographic regions.

The Solactive Stable Income Europe Index is designed for investors looking for a value and low volatility smart beta concept that puts more emphasis on the role played by free cash flow yield.
