Active ETF Conference – Thursday 20th November 2014 – LSE
ETF Strategy and the London Stock Exchange (https://www.lseg.com/) have teamed up to host an event designed to be a one-stop shop (or “Active ETFs 101” or “boot camp”) for active investment management firms, of all sizes and stripes, to learn about how they can potentially enter the fast-growing ETF space (e.g. by launching new stand-alone active ETF products, by converting existing mutual funds to ETFs, or by introducing ETF share classes of existing funds); and to meet, in one place, a selection of key vendors and service providers who can help get them there.
In essence, the conference assembles a cast of expert partners who can guide prospective new active ETF issuers through the ETF launch process and life-cycle (and over all the hurdles), from conception through to listing, cross-listing and beyond. The event will be composed of a series of presentations, panel sessions and networking breaks.
The event, which will take place at the LSE on the morning of Thursday 20th November 2014, is aimed at executives from both traditional and alternative investment management firms, with particular emphasis on decision-makers in business strategy, product engineering and product development, marketing and distribution, operations and product control, legal and compliance. Delegates will come from firms right across the AUM spectrum, from quality niche boutiques to bulge-bracket global investment houses.
