Invesco S&P MidCap Value with Momentum ETF (XMVM US) – Portfolio Construction Methodology

The underlying S&P MidCap 400 High Momentum Value Index targets 80 S&P MidCap 400 constituents exhibiting high valuations with a momentum overlay. Starting from the committee-maintained S&P MidCap 400 universe—mid-cap U.S. operating companies with float, liquidity, profitability, and size screens in the S&P U.S. Indices methodology and market caps that typically sit between the S&P small- and large-cap add ranges—each stock receives a value score (based on fundamental price ratios) and a momentum score (risk-adjusted 12-month persistence). Securities are first ranked by value, then filtered for elevated momentum, producing 80 names. Constituents are weighted in proportion to their value scores, increasing exposure to cheaper names; weights float with prices between reviews. The index reconstitutes and rebalances semi-annually on the third Friday of June and December, with changes effective after the close, and inherits corporate-action treatment and investability from the S&P MidCap 400.
