Vanguard has added 14 new accumulating share classes for various fixed income and equity ETFs on Borsa Italiana.
The share classes are tradeable in euros and aimed at investors who wish to reinvest (or capitalize) income within the fund.
By opting for an accumulating share class, investors enjoy the benefits of dividend compounding while avoiding the potential inconvenience and trading costs occurred reinvesting the income.
The 14 ETF in question are Irish-domiciled UCITS funds and are split evenly between equities and fixed income exposures.
The equity ETFs comprise an S&P 500 tracker (Vanguard’s flagship European domiciled ETF) and six country and regional-based ETFs linked to broad market beta indices from FTSE Russell.
The fixed income ETFs are linked to Bloomberg Barclays indices that provide global aggregate, US Treasury, European government, emerging market government, USD corporate, and EUR corporate exposure.
