WisdomTree Voya Yield Enhanced USD Universal Bond Fund ETF (UNIY US) – Portfolio Construction Methodology

The underlying Bloomberg US Universal Enhanced Yield Index provides USD-denominated, taxable bond exposure by decomposing the Bloomberg US Universal universe into (i) a market-cap-weighted “non-core” sleeve (e.g., high yield corporates, Eurodollar IG, 144A without registration, EM USD, and non-ERISA CMBS segments) and (ii) a “core” sleeve split 50% market-cap Aggregate exposure and 50% Aggregate Enhanced Yield reweighting across 20 sector-duration-quality buckets. The enhanced-yield bucket is optimized monthly to maximize yield subject to constraints: tracking-error ≤0.35% versus the Aggregate, duration no more than one year above the Aggregate, major/minor sector and Baa-bucket deviations ≤20%, and a two-way turnover target ≤5% with a hard cap of 10% if needed. The total index is aggregated monthly from bucket-level weights, retaining underlying issue-level market-value weights within buckets.
