ProShares Nanotechnology ETF (TINY US) – Portfolio Construction Methodology

The underlying Solactive Nanotechnology Index targets developed-market equities deriving significant revenue from nanotechnology products, tools or enabling materials. It starts from a broad Solactive developed-markets all-cap universe and includes common shares and ADRs with free-float market cap of at least USD 250 million and recent average daily trading value of at least USD 1 million to ensure basic capacity. Solactive’s thematic research framework classifies companies into nanotechnology business categories using disclosed revenue and business descriptions, and only names with meaningful, recurring nanotechnology exposure are eligible. From this pool, the 30 largest securities by free-float market cap that satisfy the size and liquidity rules are selected. Constituents are weighted by free-float market cap, with each stock capped at 4.5% and excess weight redistributed pro rata to limit concentration. The index is reviewed and rebalanced semi-annually, typically in March and September, when all eligibility and weighting constraints are reapplied.
