Krane Funds Advisors has launched the KraneShares MSCI China ESG Leaders ETF (KESG US) – a socially responsible Chinese equity ETF that invests in companies with high environmental, social, and governance ratings relative to their sector peers.
BlackRock has launched a new ETF in Hong Kong that provides exposure to the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. The iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF has listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong and been seeded with HK$ 100 million.
CSOP Asset Management has unveiled two new ETPs in Hong Kong that are the territory’s first to provide leveraged and inverse exposure to Chinese A-shares. The CSOP CSI 300 Index Daily (2x) Leveraged Product (7233 HK) and CSOP CSI 300 Index Daily (-1x) Inverse Product (7333 HK) have listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong and come with expense ratios of 1.99%.

China-focused ETF issuer KraneShares has launched its first fixed income ETF in Europe: the KraneShares Bloomberg Barclays China Bond Inclusion UCITS ETF (KBND LN). The fund, which has listed on the LSE, provides exposure to renminbi-denominated bonds issued by China’s Ministry of Finance and policy bank bonds traded in the interbank bond market. Jonathan Krane, CEO of KraneShares, commented, “With attractive yields and low correlations relative to other government bond markets, China fixed income presents a compelling opportunity.”
