Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) has become the latest investment giant to roll out its own range of competitively priced core ETFs. Debuting under the newly unveiled ‘MarketBeta’ brand, the three Cboe-listed ETFs track Solactive indices and provide economical access to market-cap-weighted portfolios of US, developed ex-North America, and emerging market stocks. JP Morgan Asset Management has added to its ‘BetaBuilders’ suite of low-cost, passively managed ETFs with the launch of the JPMorgan BetaBuilders US Mid Cap Equity ETF (BBMC US) on NYSE Arca. The fund is linked to the Morningstar US Mid Cap Target Market Exposure Extended Index and provides investors with liquid, cost-effective access to mid-cap equities trading in the US. It comes with an expense ratio of 0.07%.

Financial services giant BNY Mellon has introduced a trio of ultra-low-cost ETFs, with five more launches planned for the coming weeks. The NYC-headquartered firm is well established in the ETF space as a custodian and administrator but this is the first time it has rolled out its own ETFs. State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) has rebranded seven ETFs and reassigned them to its ‘SPDR Portfolio’ suite of ultra-low-cost ETFs. Noel Archard, Global Head of SPDR Product SSGA, commented, “The SPDR Portfolio suite was initially launched to give investors greater choice in low-cost ETFs. With today’s additions to the line-up, we’re offering investors more fixed income and international equity ETF options to help investors refine their asset allocations.”
