ProShares S&P MidCap 400 Dividend Aristocrats ETF (REGL US) – Portfolio Construction Methodology

The underlying S&P MidCap 400 Dividend Aristocrats Index targets U.S. mid-caps from the S&P MidCap 400 that have increased regular dividends for ≥15 consecutive years. Constituents are equal-weighted, with a stated minimum of 40 names; if the dividend-growth screen yields fewer than 40, companies with shorter histories may be used to meet the count. Sector concentration is constrained, with any single sector limited to ≤30% of the index. The parent S&P MidCap 400 is committee-selected and typically admits companies whose unadjusted market caps fall in the mid-cap guideline band (roughly high-single-digit to low-twenties USD billions at addition), which is reviewed and updated periodically. Membership is reset annually at the January rebalance; weights are rebalanced to equal in January, April, July, and October. Free-float and liquidity standards of the parent index apply.
