Purpose launches managed duration investment grade bond ETF on TSX

Purpose Investments has launched the actively managed Purpose Managed Duration Investment Grade Bond Fund. The ETF has been listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), under ticker IGB, and is also available in Series A and Series F mutual fund shares.

IGB provides investors with exposure to a diversified portfolio of corporate, government and/or other debt-like securities, including corporate bonds, notes, floating rate notes, convertible bonds, preferred shares, bank loans, government bonds or other income-producing securities.

It is most highly exposed to real estate (25.3%), followed by financials (23.1%) and energy (19.1%).

The fund is managed by Sandy Liang, a credit expert with significant experience in researching, analysing and investment in fixed income markets.

It has a management fee of 50bps.
