Invesco PowerShares has cross-listed the Source Stoxx Europe Mid 200 UCITS ETF (SDJMID IM) on Borsa Italiana.
The fund tracks the Stoxx Europe Mid 200 TR Index, which is composed of 200 stocks designed to provide a representation of mid-cap companies in Europe. Derived from the Stoxx Europe 600 Index, the index’s largest country exposures are currently the UK (28.8%), France (12.9%), Germany (12.3%), Switzerland (7.5%) and the Netherlands (5.6%).
Industrials is the largest sector exposure with just over a quarter of the total weighting, followed by financials (19.4%), consumer goods (13.4%), consumer services (10.8%), and basic materials (10.4%).
The index is well diversified with the largest constituent – Standard Life Aberdeen – accounting for just 1.1% of the total weight.
The fund has done well thus far in 2017 (as of 31 October), gaining 16.9% year-to-date.
The fund trades in euros and has a total expense ratio of 0.35%. It is also listed on Deutsche Börse in euros. Since its initial launch in 2009, the fund has gained over €93 million in assets under management.
