Invesco Next Gen Media and Gaming ETF (GGME US) – Portfolio Construction Methodology
The underlying STOXX World AC NexGen Media Index (USD) offers global all-cap exposure to companies deriving most revenue from next-generation media, entertainment, and gaming activities. The starting universe is STOXX World AC All Cap; securities must have free-float market cap of at least EUR 500 million and three-month average daily traded value of at least EUR 1 million. Eligible issuers are classified in selected RBICS sub-industries tied to online media, streaming, social platforms, digital advertising, e-sports, gaming software, and related hardware, and must generate at least 50% of revenues from these activities. From this thematic subset, the 100 largest constituents by free-float market cap are chosen. Weights are proportional to free-float market cap multiplied by each company’s aggregate revenue exposure to the target sub-industries, then capped so no stock exceeds 8% and the total weight of stocks above 4.5% does not exceed 45%. Membership is reviewed annually, while weights and caps are reset quarterly.
