Global X FinTech ETF (FINX US) – Portfolio Construction Methodology

The underlying Indxx Global FinTech Thematic Index targets developed-market equities whose primary business is technology-enabled financial services across mobile payments, P2P and marketplace lending, crowdfunding, blockchain/alternative currencies, personal finance software, automated wealth management/trading, and enterprise solutions. Eligibility requires market cap ≥ USD 300M, free float ≥ 10%, and 6-month ADTV ≥ USD 2M (significant IPOs allowed with shorter history); ongoing buffers retain members down to USD 240M market cap and USD 1.4M ADTV. Constituents are market-cap weighted subject to constraints: single-name cap 6%; aggregate weight of positions >5% is limited to 40%; remaining names are capped at 4.5%. The index reconstitutes and rebalances annually on the second Friday of March, with a supplemental review for IPOs and corporate actions each September.
