Fineco Asset Management, the investment division of Italian online brokerage bank FinecoBank, has entered the ETF arena by launching 11 funds on Borsa Italiana.
Fineco has charged into the ETF arena by listing 11 funds on Borsa Italiana.
The listings comprise a mix of six equity and five fixed income products, all of which are linked to indices developed by MSCI.
Three of the equity ETFs are global developed market sector funds, providing ESG-enhanced exposure to stocks from the consumer staples, financials, and information technology sectors.
The funds follow MSCI’s ‘ESG Leaders’ methodology which removes companies operating in controversial industries before selecting a sub-set of firms with the highest ESG scores.
The remaining three equity ETFs offer exposure to key thematic strategies – cyber security, semiconductors, and metals & mining – also within a global stock market universe.
The five fixed income products offer socially responsible exposure to different segments of the EUR and USD corporate bond markets. The range includes ETFs targeting broad-maturity USD investment-grade, broad-maturity EUR investment-grade, short-duration EUR investment-grade, broad-maturity USD high-yield, and broad-maturity EUR high-yield bonds.
Each fund incorporates MSCI’s ‘SRI Sustainable’ investment approach which screens out companies operating in controversial industries as well as any firm with an MSCI ESG rating below BBB (average).
Each equity ETF comes with an expense ratio of 0.38%, while each fixed income ETF is priced at 0.30%.
