Fidelity Crypto Industry and Digital Payments ETF (FDIG US) – Portfolio Construction Methodology

The underlying Fidelity Crypto Industry and Digital Payments Index targets global equities tied to cryptocurrency, related blockchain technology, and digital payments, drawn from developed/emerging exchanges (ex-China listings). Investability screens require market cap ≥100m USD and 6-month ADV ≥2m USD (≥1m USD retention buffer). Selection includes all “crypto industry” stocks deriving ≥50% revenue from crypto mining, crypto-related financial services, or enabling blockchain technology, plus the top 20 digital-payments processors each deriving ≥50% revenue from payments, prioritized by ADV; a ±20% stock-count buffer applies to the payments sleeve. Weights are based on modified ADV, with the crypto-industry sleeve maintained at ≥60% of index weight. Single-issuer weights are capped at the lesser of 22.5% and the maximum that supports a modeled 20m USD flow. The index rebalances quarterly in four tranches starting the third Friday of Mar/Jun/Sep/Dec.
