The underlying Inspire 500 Index provides market-cap-weighted exposure to the 500 largest U.S.-domiciled companies that meet Inspire’s values screen. The selection universe includes stocks listed on major U.S. exchanges with non-negative Inspire Impact Scores; manufacturers of military/civilian weapons and barrier contraceptives are excluded. On each reconstitution, only one share class per issuer (Class A preference if multiple) is considered, and constituents are chosen strictly by descending market cap until 500 stocks are reached. Weights are proportional to each company’s market cap; no additional issuer, sector, or country caps are imposed. The index is reconstituted annually in September using prices on the Selection Day set seven business days before the Adjustment Day; between reconstitutions it is not otherwise rebalanced except for standard corporate-action maintenance.

Investment Proposition

Inspire 500 ETF (PTL) offers a broad, values-aligned take on U.S. large-cap equities by applying a faith-based screening and scoring process across a wide investable universe and tracking the resulting rules-driven selection and weighting. The design aims to capture market-level growth while excluding companies that do not meet defined behavioral standards, reducing exposure to certain activities and potentially tilting toward balance-sheet quality and profitability factors. Portfolio changes occur through scheduled reconstitutions and corporate actions, keeping turnover generally tied to rules rather than discretionary calls. When leadership concentrates in industries commonly screened out, relative performance can trail; when cycles reward durable cash flow, disciplined capital allocation, and cleaner balance sheets, the fund’s tilt can be constructive. It can serve as a values-aligned core equity anchor, a policy-friendly beta substitute for institutions with explicit guidelines, or a satellite to reduce exposure to disfavored activities. Likely users include nonprofit pools and advisor-led households integrating belief-screened mandates. A key risk is tracking divergence versus broad market proxies stemming from exclusions and proprietary scoring.
