Investment Proposition

Invesco Building & Construction ETF (PKB) provides targeted exposure to U.S. companies whose revenues are tied to residential and non-residential building, construction services, engineering, building products, and related materials. The strategy emphasizes firms positioned to benefit from multi-year housing cycles, renovation demand, and public and private infrastructure activity, accepting higher industry concentration to amplify the theme. Methodology typically favors companies displaying fundamental and price leadership within the opportunity set, which can tilt the portfolio toward mid-cap cyclicals and away from defensive sectors. Returns are sensitive to interest rates, credit conditions, and construction backlogs; periods of accelerating growth, easing financial conditions, or increased infrastructure spending tend to be supportive, while housing slowdowns or tighter financing can challenge results. As a satellite sleeve, it fits investors seeking cyclical or factor completion tilts alongside a broad core, or thematic mandates aligned to domestic construction and infrastructure. Suitable users include allocators running core-satellite portfolios seeking targeted cyclical beta, and thematic investors pursuing sector-specific catalysts. A key risk to monitor is industry concentration, which can increase drawdown potential during housing or construction downturns.
