From a universe of 400 ACSI companies across 46 industries, it excludes issuers not principally U.S.-listed, those with market cap under USD 1 billion, and companies with insufficient survey samples. The 25 industries showing the highest customer retention are kept, and within each, the 1–3 firms with the top ACSI score are chosen, producing roughly 25–35 constituents. Sector weights are aligned with the U.S. large-cap market, industry weights within each sector scale to the best ACSI score observed, and stocks in an industry are equal weighted subject to a 12% single-name cap. The index reconstitutes and rebalances quarterly after the 10th trading day of January, April, July, and October, using the latest rolling customer-satisfaction data.

Investment Proposition

American Customer Satisfaction ETF (ACSI) offers targeted exposure to U.S. companies with strong customer satisfaction characteristics, seeking to harness the link between satisfied customers, durable cash flows, and equity value creation. The strategy uses a systematic selection and weighting process informed by broad, cross-industry customer experience data to tilt toward brands with enduring consumer loyalty and away from persistently weak franchises. It pursues total return by emphasizing business quality, competitive moats, and pricing power while maintaining diversified, sector-aware exposure across the U.S. large- and mid-cap landscape. Key traits often include quality, profitability, and lower earnings dispersion; style tilts can drift with the consumer cycle, occasionally introducing growth or defensive biases. The approach may be resilient in slower-growth or margin-sensitive regimes and can lag in speculative, momentum-led markets. Portfolio roles include a core U.S. equity sleeve emphasizing quality, a factor-completion tool for brand strength, and a “sleep-well” capital sleeve for investors favoring durable franchises. Suitable profiles include asset allocators seeking quality-biased U.S. equity and wealth managers building client-friendly brand-exposure themes. Monitor methodology capacity and concentration risk in favored industries.
