IQ Engender Equality ETF (EQUL US) – Portfolio Construction Methodology

The underlying Solactive Equileap US Select Gender Equality Index provides exposure to U.S. equities with leading gender-equality practices across leadership, pay, policies and accountability. The universe is the Solactive GBS United States 1000 Index, covering the 1,000 largest U.S.-listed stocks by free-float market cap. Constituents must have 3-month ADVT of at least USD 5 million. Securities are then excluded if they breach revenue thresholds in fossil fuels, nuclear power, gambling, adult entertainment, alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, military equipment or controversial weapons, or violate major international norms. Remaining companies are ranked by the Equileap Gender Diversity Score; an 80% buffer retains existing members to keep turnover ≤20%, then the list is filled to 75 stocks, with any single FactSet economy capped at 25% of index weight. All constituents are equally weighted, and the index is rebalanced quarterly.
