First Trust S-Network Streaming & Gaming ETF (BNGE US) – Portfolio Construction Methodology

The underlying S-Network Streaming & Gaming Index offers global equity exposure to companies whose primary businesses support online content streaming, digital gaming, e-sports, and related wagering ecosystems. The index draws from a global developed and major emerging markets universe of common shares and ADRs/GDRs, then applies business-activity screens to identify firms that enable remote users to access or publish content, operate gaming or wagering platforms, or supply critical streaming and gaming technology. Eligible securities must meet minimum size, free-float and trading-liquidity thresholds, ensuring constituents are seasoned, institutionally investable names rather than micro-caps. Constituents are weighted by free-float market cap, with caps on individual issuers and highly concentrated groups to prevent dominance by the largest platforms and game publishers and to maintain capacity. The index is reviewed and rebalanced quarterly, with constituent and weight changes implemented on a set schedule to control turnover.
