BlackRock has launched its latest actively managed ETF, targeting high-growth stocks listed in the US.

The BlackRock Large Cap Growth ETF (BGRO US) has been listed on Nasdaq with an expense ratio of 0.55%.

The fund leverages BlackRock’s deep fundamental insights to construct a style-pure portfolio primarily consisting of US companies with high growth characteristics and strong earnings power. Additionally, up to 20% of the ETF’s assets may be allocated to stocks listed outside of the US.

Investment decisions are made based on a thorough analysis of various valuation parameters, relative to anticipated earnings growth rates and potential returns on equity.

As of 6 June, information technology stocks accounted for half (48.4%) of the portfolio exposure followed by stocks from the consumer discretionary (13.6%), communication services (12.0%), and health care (10.0%) sectors.

Notable positions included Nvidia (13.4%), Microsoft (11.1%), Amazon (10.3%), Apple (6.7%), Meta Platforms (5.8%), and Visa (4.5%).
