VanEck Gaming ETF (BJK US) – Portfolio Construction Methodology

The underlying MVIS Global Gaming Index offers concentrated global exposure to the gaming industry by selecting companies that derive at least 50% of revenues, or 25% for existing components, from casinos, casino hotels, sports betting (including online), racetracks, lotteries, gaming services, gaming technology or gaming equipment. The investable universe follows MVIS global equity rules, which require meaningful free-float, minimum market caps and trading volumes so constituents are predominantly mid- and large-cap and liquid. On each quarterly review date, all eligible stocks are ranked by free-float market cap, names covering the top 85% of free-float market capitalisation qualify, and current members between the 85th and 98th percentiles are retained as buffers. If necessary, additional names are added until coverage reaches at least 90% and the count reaches 25. Constituents are free-float market-cap weighted with an 8% cap per stock, and weights are adjusted at each quarterly review.
